ReLab

ReLab closes a product-data gap in industrial ecology by recording how durable goods come apart, component by component. I designed and built the platform now used at CML: a FastAPI backend, a PostgreSQL data model for life-cycle assessment, and an Expo / React Native capture app.

In use at CML since Oct 2025, including two teardown workshops.

My MSc Industrial Ecology thesis (Leiden / TU Delft) models building cooling demand in The Hague and its life-cycle impacts from the bottom up, combining BAG building data, an hourly heat-balance model, and life-cycle assessment. An interactive dashboard maps demand across the city's 112 neighbourhoods.

Centralised observability for CML's research platforms: logs, traces, and metrics cross-referenced on one host, so a failing research service can be traced from one place.

Draft CRediT contribution statements with your co-authors, then export the grid as a contribution heatmap alongside JATS4R XML, CSV, JSON, or Markdown. Runs client-side in nine languages and works offline.

pre-commit hook

check-json5

Validate .json files as standard JSON or JSON5 with one pre-commit hook, so config files with comments and trailing commas pass the same check, with duplicate-key detection. A drop-in replacement for check-json.

Currently prototyping an AI4IE resource hub and a project gallery for CML. I also send fixes upstream to tools I build on, mostly in the FastAPI and open-LCA ecosystems, such as fastapi-mail and sentier_data_tools.
